Roadtrip to Norway

During our winter holiday, we took a few days' trip to northern Norway going Rovaniemi - Nordkapp - Tromsö - Rovaniemi. I was high on lack of sleep because that jungle theme event had been going on for the last two days, and for my calculations I slept more or less ten hours between friday and monday when we arrived to Tromsö. There we could finally see a great show of northern lights, and I could get some pictures too, but I still need a lot of practise with that area.

There are plenty of these pictures, but I'll try to show only my favourites in the next few posts (:

I Feel Good

Today I feel good. I have have a perfect day of realizing that there's no point in worrying about something that I can't do anything about, accepting that I might not be perfect but that's ok and that people are different and that's ok too and that I would actually like to show love to everyone, and maybe they'd realize to show it more in their lives too. I feel SO NICE right now, in the moment, being present and relaxed and happy. This is a feeling I'd like to hold on.

Snowmen

I have been writing and essay about ecotourism for hours now, so I'm not going to write anything this time either. Here we have some pictures of an abandoned car and O building snowmen. We actually made them together, but obviously I'm not in the pictures ;)

Grandparents' Secrets 1

I just had the most wonderful weekend with my grandparents and aunt here nearby Rovaniemi. I like to see that my grandma is so happy when I visit, as we used to live so far a way that we could only go there once or twice a year. We baked some traditional Finnish food or snack called "karjalanpiirakka", played cards and just talked a lot. I also borrowed my aunt's sewing machine and her assistance, and finally I successfully finished a pair of shorts with leopard print for the event with a jungle theme on Saturday. Oh my, how the time flies - I remember clearly when I was all excited about this event and planning my costume, and now it's already happening this week!

I had a little photography project with my grandparent's home: I thought it would be nice to catch some details and my favourite things in there, and I'm really happy with the results. Here is the first part, as there are plenty of pictures (:

Soon I'll put here some pictures of myself for a change, taken when O got his hands on the camera during our walk in the riverside.
