Huskies and Writing

Today I went to see some huskies again, and it definitely did not help with my puppy fever. I spent more time petting them than taking pictures, but I am especially happy having been able to take so many good ones, because most of the dogs (and all of the puppies) are moving all the time, which makes taking good pictures more difficult :D

Yesterday I was left home alone, so I decided to start writing this story I have had in my mind for a while. I write in Finnish of course, I love how you can play with the Finnish language because it's so diverse and flexible. I got one page done and I realised I actually will have to plan the story a little more before being able to just write. So that's what I'm trying to get done now, writing and developing the story and the characters.

Now, an overdose of cuteness:

Ice Fishing

I really loved photographing an ice fishing competition one weekend here, even though the weather was challenging because of snow and wind. I am still really happy with the result, as this was one of my first times photographing an event and people, and not just nature or some artistic stuff. All the children's parents have been asked permission to use these here, and there were some who didn't want them to be used, so here we have the best of the pictures with permission to be used. One of the best pics I took I still don't know if I can use it or not, but I'll add it afterwords when I get the word.

With some pictures there was a snowflake on the lens, but let's not let it bother (;

Tromsö From Up and Down

Now I have many new pictures and a brand new laptop to work better with them that I want to have these photos from Norway published fast! Here we have more pictures from Tromsö, at the harbour and from up the hill. In one of those there's me standing on my hands - I have a series of pictures of handstanding in different places (: These Norwegian pics will be enough for at least one or two posts yet, but after that I'll have some more recent material.
