Spring and movies
We decided to take all the advantage of a "two with the prize of one" on the movie theaters here, and went to the cinema yesterday and today. Yesterday's movie The Host was a huge disappointment for me as the book was so thrilling, but tonight's movie Cloud Atlas simply blew all my expectations. I don't know if other people have found it so special, but to me it must be one of the best movies I've seen in my whole life. The way it made me feel during the experience and afterwords, and the way it kept me hooked three hours is something very few movies are capable of. Well, I suppose you have to see to know, but I absolutely recommend it to everyone. And now I can't wait to get to read the same book!
Before going to the center today, we went to a nearby woods riding bicycles, and it is wonderful to see how spring has gotten hold of the nature by now. It was so little time ago when snow still controlled the views everywhere. I am a full-time summer person, and for me spring is like a blossom of hope, light at the end of the tunnel. Especially I love the bright green color of the newborn leaves of birch, which turns into summer while darkening.
