Thank you, power plant!

Note about the happenings last week: it isn't normal for the ice to leave with such a rumble, but a mistake that was made in the nearest power plant along the river - they made too much water run through. Still, I think it was really good luck to happen to stay in the house along that part of the river, just where the ice happened to stop, and to travel at the time when all this happened, not a week or day later. I say it's all about luck sometimes!

Tomorrow I hope to get to photograph the first of May's celebrations here in Helsinki. I wish it won't rain, because I haven't bought rain protection to my camera yet, nor a tripod nor a couple of lenses and filters I'm interested in. I'm saving my money until the trip to Chile in June, because there all that is cheaper. And it's good to get to know my camera well enough first, right?

I noticed that almost all my photos by now are about nature, but tomorrow I hopefully get some people in the picture too!
