Ice is moving

in the Kemi River with rumble. I never could have imagined how incredibly beautiful and stunning the beginning of the spring might be here in the north. The sound of huge ice floatings crack is something indescribable; you should experience it yourself to believe. The dock of my uncle here broke when the ice masses pushed it up, even though it had been taken into the land during the winter. It just wasn't far enough considering all that unbelievable power in the river. I have taken some amazing pics, which I will put here on Saturday when I get back home to Helsinki (after ten-hour-drive).

I really hope someone else too has experienced this at least once in their lives.

Waiting for the pictures.
Picking up the best ones and editing them will probably take more time than normally: inspired by the beauty, I have taken about 500 pictures by now, and more is coming!

This is me writing this by the awesome river shore of my uncle.
